AWARD-WINNING WRITER, PRODUCER & STRATEGIST

As a Chief Marketing Officer, I understand that in order to get the most out of your marketing initiatives, you must create realistic goals that are unique to your consumer types, build an internal structure so your teams can be aligned and cohesive, and implement tools to measure and communicate information.

With over 15 years of experience, my career in video production, advertising, and journalism provided a wide spectrum of industry knowledge from aerospace and pharmaceutical to small business and comedy television. I learned a long time ago that being “a creative” simply means that you are a thoughtful communicator who knows how to solve a problem with a unique twist. While I have earned an Emmy-nomination and an aerospace award for a NASA documentary, I am most proud of my ability to work with all kinds of teams, experts and executives to create successful solutions for all types of problems.

Specifically, my work as a video producer shaped the skills that are my most valuable for organizations. This is just a quick look at what that looks like:

  • quickly absorb new and complex information from company’s experts (all levels)

  • assess what is needed due to outside research and market trends and future projections

  • create a roadmap and clearly communicate goals, KPIs and strategies with well-documented concepts and direction

  • implement strategies with a production schedule, necessary tech/tools/equipment, needed team/crew/talent, and a production kickoff

  • oversee production with a keen eye for detail and resolve conflicts with creativity and resourcefulness

  • launch on target with the proper promotional elements (both internal and external)

  • track, analyze and communicate the measurements of success and options for next steps

After all this time in a competitive career, I still find great inspiration, lessons and growth within every new challenge that comes my way.
